Introducing Our Pastured Chickens: Organic, Flavourful, and Raised the Regenerative Way

At Planton Farm, our chickens are raised outdoors on organic pastures, certified by OF&G, and moved daily to fresh ground. This daily rotation allows our slow-growing Hubbard birds to forage on a rich mix of grasses, herbs, and insects, resulting in healthier chickens and meat with exceptional flavour—just like chicken used to taste.

We are committed to animal welfare, regenerative farming, and producing nutrient-dense food. Our focus on slow-growing breeds means our chickens develop robust health and a depth of flavour that reflects the vitality of our living soils and diverse pastures.

Alongside our main chicken enterprise, we are thought leaders in ethical poultry through our Impeckable Poultry project, which champions dual-purpose breeds for a more sustainable future. While our general chicken sales feature slow-growing Hubbard birds, from time to time we offer dual-purpose chickens—these will always be clearly marked when available.

Taste the difference of chicken raised the Planton Farm way—good for you, good for the land, and a true return to how chicken should taste.
